• Shake That Ass by Yasumase YONE Yonehara

    Floating Worlds is bringing iconic Japanese photographer, Yasumase “Yone” Yonehara to Australia for his debut Melbourne and Sydney tour. Yone’s signature sexy lo-fi polaroid style has changes the face of editorial photography throughout the world. His latest show titled “Shake That Ass” is an exhibition of his recent progression and experimentation with repetitive and abstract erotica and continuity. The two city show will be coupled with editorial work for Casio G-shock.

    No Comply is an bi-annual skateboard art exhibition which started in 2003. The exhibition provides an oportunity for emerging Australian artists to exhibit beside established local and international artists and a platform for future projects. No Comply\'s structure changes from year to year, sometimes incorperating several other projects into a festival and sometimes being presented as a stand along exhibition.

Floating World Art’s is an art direction and production company; we manage and promote artists, events and projects.

 

Originating from Melbourne Australia, Floating Worlds is dedicated to the promotion of it’s local artists community while also working with a family of talented artists, animators, designers, sculptors, illustrators and musicians from around the world.

 

Through projects such as NiceProduce.com, Backwoods Gallery and our annual exhibitions, Floating World Arts provides a platform for the development, management and promotions of emerging artists, laying the ground for the future creative industry of Australia.

 

Floating World Art’s has also manages collaborative projects between artists and brands, developing product, installations and promotional campaigns, having recently completed a project with Levis Strauss Japan and New York artists KR which can be viewed in our projects section.
